I am currently living in Berlin, Germany and am available for free-lance contract work. Here are examples of projects I’ve done in the past. Feel free to contact me for consultation about mold-making, reproducing and/or enlarging sculpture in general.
This is a mold I made copying an early hominid skull.
This is a silicone brush-on mold I did for the Squirrels on Locust public installation project at the University of Pennsylvania. Squirrels on Locust was the first student run Public installation at Upenn, and involved the creation of over 30 statues, which were then painted by the different student groups that bought them
Here are the first 3 casts, out of 30. These are still in need of repairs.
This photos shows roughly 20 of the finished casts, before painting. Next to me is John Agbaje, who originally initiated the Squirrels on Locust project, and now co-creates a comic, Project 0, with his brother Charles.
Unfortunately, I don’t have pictures of the mold making process, but here is a picture of the finished project. The 12 ft long dragons where installed in China Town, Philadelphia. The dragons were modeled and cast at the Ward & Elicker Foundry in NE Philadelphia.
This is the rubber phase of the mold I am working on now of and eagle, modelled by Jerry himself at Barre Sculpture Studios.
This is the first piece of the six piece (not including a key underneath the tail feathers) mother mold that will support the rubber when the original clay is taken out.
Shown below is the finished mold in 5 pieces, and the rubber in two pieces.
And here is the finished cast.
These are some selected shots from the my last project. A work done for the Hungarian artist Hajnal Nemeth. There are limited editions available, so talk to her if you are interested in owning a copy!
