These are full size portraits modeled from life.
The photos below document a process of facial reconstruction that I did for a final project in an Anthropology class at UPenn. I was allowed to borrow a cast of a neanderthal skull from the universities collection, and make a copy of it that I could use to build clay on top of.
Here is the original model that was used to create 30 casts for the Squirrels on Locust.
